The Yamaha 4.2L V6 (300 HP) is built on Yamaha’s 4.2-liter V6 platform, engineered to deliver strong acceleration, responsive throttle control, and reliable offshore performance. Designed for center consoles, bay boats, and offshore vessels, the 4.2L V6 (300 HP) provides high horsepower output while maintaining the weight and balance advantages of a V6 configuration.
Featuring dual overhead camshafts and a 24-valve design, the Yamaha 4.2L V6 (300 HP) supports efficient airflow and consistent power delivery throughout the RPM range. The engine uses electronic fuel injection (EFI) for precise fuel metering and smooth operation. It supports Yamaha Digital Electronic Controls (DEC), depending on configuration, and includes electric start with integrated power trim and tilt. Available shaft lengths of 20", 25", and 30" allow installation across a wide range of transom heights and hull designs.
